An Enchanted Christmas: From Primary to Secondary School

This year, the Lycée Français René Descartes de Phnom Penh celebrated a magical Christmas, lighting up the hearts of primary and secondary school pupils. The festivities enveloped our school in a warm and joyful atmosphere, bringing together young and old in a spirit of sharing and conviviality.

Primary: Magic and learning

Our kindergarten and elementary school students immersed themselves in the magic of Christmas in a fun and educational way. Craft workshops transformed classrooms into Santa’s little workshops, where children created sparkling decorations and personalized cards. Learning mingled with wonder, as teachers ingeniously integrated mathematical and linguistic concepts into festive activities.

The magic of Christmas also permeated the lessons, with captivating Christmas tales and discussions on Christmas traditions around the world. Younger children also took part in educational games that emphasized the spirit of cooperation and sharing, cultivating essential values.

Secondary: Creativity in the spotlight

In the middle and high schools, the festive spirit took a creative turn. CVCL students vied with each other in imagination, decorating the corridors to transform them into veritable festive landscapes. Carefully decorated Christmas trees and string lights created a festive atmosphere.

A memorable Christmas for all
